Tomorrow, Thursday 3rd March, we are celebrating World Book Day in school and all the classes are decorating their doors. We are asking parents / carers to get involved and come into school before we start, from 8.30am or at the end of the day from 3.30pm to cast their votes. Please support our classes.

Easter Holiday Clubs
Hello families We will soon be launching the Easter Holiday clubs in Blackburn with Darwen for children and young people, entitled to FREE SCHOOL MEALS (and those identified as being in need of this provision) There will be a big mix of activity and food on offer in many venues across Blackburn and Darwen. All dates and venues are currently being worked planned! Families will receive information from school leads in the next couple of weeks, and bookings will then need to be made via the forms on our website or booking line (more details to follow

This year to help celebrate World Book Day we have a fantatsic deal with Bookworms, where any book ordered will cost just £2.50. Please see the attached flier and code to use. Please contact school if you have any questions.
Valentine Disco
Valentine Disco Please join us for our disco next week on Thursday 10th February. Tickets will be on sale from tomorrow and are just £1 which includes a drink and a snack. Reception, Year 1 and 2, 3.45pm - 4.45pm Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 5.00pm - 6.00pm
Free School Meal Vouchers
Free School Meal Vouchers If your child is entitled to Free School Meals (not Universal Free School Meals), the vouchers are now ready for collection from the school office. This is to cover the 1/2 term holiday. Please collect before Thursday 10th February.
Chinese New Year
Please join us to celebrate Chinese New Year tomorrow where Mellors are preparing some Chinese dishes for us to enjoy. School dinners are £2 unless you are in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 or are entitled to Free School Meals. Please contact the office if you have any questions.
